What this site collects, why, and who it goes to. Written in plain English because a policy nobody reads protects nobody.
What we collect
When you submit a vehicle request, we collect the name, phone number and email address you enter, along with whatever you tell us about the vehicle — make, model, year range, budget, mileage, features, a stock number, and any notes you add.
When you register as a referral agent, we collect your name, phone number and email address. When you refer a buyer, we collect their name and email address alongside yours.
We do not ask for, and have no use for, payment details, financial information, driving licence numbers or any government identifier. If a form ever asks you for one of those, it is not ours.
Who it goes to
Automotive Car Brokers is a broker. Sourcing the vehicle you asked for means passing your request to dealerships — that is the service, and it cannot be done without it.
What is shared is what a dealership needs to quote: the vehicle you are looking for and a way to reach you. Once your details are with a dealership, that dealership is responsible for them under its own privacy policy, which we neither write nor control.
We do not sell your information, rent it, trade it, or pass it to advertisers, data brokers or lead-generation companies.
How it is used
To answer your request, source the vehicle, and stay in touch about it. If you register as a referral agent, your details are also used to attribute a referral to you and to pay you when one completes.
We do not send marketing email you did not ask for.
How long we keep it
Vehicle requests are kept while we are working on them and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that a returning buyer does not have to start again. Referral agent records are kept for as long as you are on the roster.
Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless we are required to keep a record of a completed transaction.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising cookies, runs no third-party trackers, and does not fingerprint you. Pages you open on a dealership’s own website are governed by that site, not this one, and most dealer platforms do use tracking.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. You can tell us to stop contacting you at any point and we will.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than quietly edited in.
